Who We Are
The Tutors-to-Teachers (T2T) project is a state-wide project in the Commonwealth of Virginia designed to build tutors’ skills and increase achievement in elementary and middle school students with a scalable, comprehensive program for teachers, students, and families.
Our Purpose
(a) provide an opportunity to expand the recruitment and training of undergraduate and graduate students and ignite their passion for the teaching profession
(b) build the capacity of well-prepared tutors who can create learning environments that promote and support elementary and middle school student self-regulated learning (SRL) skills in preparation for postsecondary learning.
